This Christmas cocktail is visually stunning, featuring vivid tones of red and green. In our own sample group, it was universally lauded as a drink that everyone could enjoy, anytime of the year. Fresh strawberries, pineapple juice, and mint give this cocktail an aura of anticipation.

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 5–6 fresh strawberries
  • 5 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 tsp superfine sugar
  • 2 oz lemon-lime soda
  • Mint sprigs

This recipe makes two servings. In a blender, whizz the vodka, strawberries, and pineapple juice until berries are puréed. You may also blend ice with these ingredients to make a slush. If you forgo the ice in the blending stage, pour the mixture into two Collins glasses with ice. Top off with lemon-lime soda and garnish with a couple of mint sprigs. Serve and enjoy!
