The Blue Cue is an upscale billiards room, bar, restaurant, and bistro in Midtown Sacramento. You can find the Blue Cue upstairs at the corner of 28th and J, right above Centros.

Blue Cue happy hourThe Blue Cue Happy Hour runs on Monday–Friday from 4pm–7pm. Domestic beer mainstays Budweiser and Pabst go for $2 each. Well Drinks and premium beers such as Blue Moon, Langunitas IPA, and Stella Artois only set you back $3. You can also pick up some tasty appetizers for $3–$3.50: Crispy Mac & Cheese, Sliders, Hot Wings, Crispy Potato Rounds with bacon and cheese, Four Cheese Quesadilla, Chicken Tacos, and Chicken Lettuce Wraps.

Monday is Service Industry Night. Restaurant workers can get You-Call-Its, Well Drinks, Appetizers, and Beers for $3 (with proof of Industry). Monday also happens to be Burger & Beer Night, as anyone can pick up a burger and a domestic brew for $6 during Happy Hour.

Tuesday features Music Trivia competition beginning at 8pm. Contestants battle through four rounds to win five prizes. Highlighted genres include oldies, Top 40, country, and 1980s pop.

Wednesday nights, starting at 6:30pm, it’s Trivia Night. The top 3 teams win prizes. Blue Cue is also running a karaoke contest through the end of summer. Two $25 gift certificates get handed out each week, with a $200 Grand Prize at the finals on the 29th of August. Signups for the karaoke contest are from 7pm–9pm each Wednesday. Be sure to get there early; space is limited.

DJ JB at the Blue CueOn Fridays, the Blue Cue becomes a lounge, as there is Live Video Mixing by DJ JB. This interactive video experience is sure to be entertaining, ’cause you know, video killed the radio star.
