With 4/20 just a day away, I can’t think of a better time to publish our Scooby Snack drink recipe. We’ve been getting a fair number of people looking for it, so I guess you could say this article is by popular demand. Why is it called a Scooby Snack anyway? This Scooby Snack recipe is pretty tropical tasting. Maybe it got its name because Shaggy and Scooby might enjoy it along with one of those godawful sandwiches they put together. Don’t worry, after the recipe, we’ll talk about some of the reasons why Scooby-Doo and Shaggy are believed to be hitting the bong in the back of the Mystery Machine.

The Irish Harp Beer Cocktail
We haven’t done a beer cocktail yet; I’d say it’s nigh about time to feature one as our first. In our website logs, I saw that someone had been searching for something called an Irish Harp. After a little research, I found out exactly what this pub drink is. So sit back, crack a bottle, and let the Friday Night Drinking Club show you how to mix this tropical Hpnotiq cocktail.
Godiva Truffletini Recipe
The legend of Lady Godiva is something that lives on almost a thousand years after the fact. Was her infamous ride something that actually took place, or is it all fabricated? We’ll discuss that after a bit, but for now, I want to talk about the Godiva martini that bears her name. That’s right, it’s Valentine’s Day, so there’s no better time to post our Godiva Truffletini recipe. For the sex symbol in your life, I can’t think of a better way to express your appreciation. Of wait, yes I can.
Belgian Beer Classes
Who’s down for Belgian beer tasting and learning something about what we’re drinking? That’s what I thought. Lucky for us here in Sactown, Total Wine and More puts on beer classes twice each month. Don’t worry, I posted the remaining 2012 schedule at the bottom of this article. So…I attended the January beer appreciation course, dedicated to the best Belgian beers that our hosts could dig up. I’ll admit I was jazzed at the prospect of tasting a dozen beers, but I really had no idea what to expect. Would this particular beer class live up to the hype?
Moscow Mule Recipe
It’s hard to imagine vodka not being that popular as a cocktail ingredient. But such a time did exist, back before the 1940s. Sure, vodka was big back in Europe, but gin was the far and away the go-to spirit for making drinks here in the United States. So how did vodka suddenly take off? It all began with a drink dubbed the Moscow Mule.
