Dude, Easter is right around the corner, so I guess it’s as good a time as any to discuss the Carrot Cake Shot. Most home bartenders might have all the needed ingredients lying around already. It’s hard to put my finger on the exact combination of flavors that evoke thoughts of Christmas; there’s a complex spiciness to this cocktail. Christmas in a Cup isn’t like any other holiday drink that comes to mind.
Halloween is near, and revelers everywhere are looking for appropriate drinks to celebrate with. Recently, I discovered a tasty cinnamon flavored drink called the Flaming Pumpkin Pie. This shooter is simple to make, and perfect to serve to guests during any of the autumn or winter holidays. A typical home bar will already have the four ingredients necessary, so let’s proceed to take a closer look at the Flaming Pumpkin Pie.
Recently, I was scouring the Internet for recipes for Apple Pie Cocktail, or at least something similar. There turned out to be a ton of drink recipes that were nothing at all alike. Before I finally came up with a concoction that satisfied my original quest, I started experimenting with some of the liquors and mixers I had compiled into a list of potential ingredients. What I accidentally came up with is a brand new drink that I am now dubbing the Sacramento Cider. This mixed drink tastes just like an alcoholic version of mulled cider, and I’m excited to share our Sacramento Cider recipe with you today.
